 2018 Preview 


       Faith Academy finished the 2017 season with a disappointing 3-7 record. Last year Faith Academy finished sixth in Class 5A region one with a 1-5 region record and failed to qualify for the playoffs.

       The Rams have not qualified for the playoffs since the 2007 season and would love to end that streak this year.

       Faith Academy was inconsistent offensively last year and they need some improvement if the Rams want to be competitive. They only averaged 17.3 points a game.

       Since 2010, the Faith Academy football program has struggled with a record of 21-58.

       Over the past 25 seasons, Faith Academy has managed to compile a record of 116-154. Their 43.0% winning percentage ranks 41st in Class 5A and 252nd in the AHSAA. Their last winning season was 2008.




       The Rams will be under the direction of new head football coach Jack French as they enter the 2018 season.

       Coach French's overall record as a head football coach in nine season stands at 63-35 (64.3%). Over the course of his career, Coach French's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of five times .

       The Faith Academy Rams will play in Class 5A region one during the 2018 season.

       It will be an uphill battle for the Rams if they hope to grab one of the four playoff slots in region one this season.

       The Rams open the 2018 season at home against non-region opponent Bogue Chitto MS on Friday, August 24 at Ram Field.

       This will be the second meeting between Faith Academy and Bogue Chitto MS on the football field. The Rams have a 1-0-0 record against Bogue Chitto MS. They last met in with
